The Air Conditioning Systems and Services business of Ingersoll Rand
provides heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems that enhance
the quality and comfort of the air in homes and buildings around the
world. Its offerings, under the Trane and American Standard Heating
& Air Conditioning brands, include energy efficient systems, service
and parts support and advanced building controls.
- Evaluate existing HVAC systems in buildings and determine methods to
optimize building performance.
- Provide project scope and job estimates.
- Provide equipment sizing, selection, and CAD sketches for project.
- Meet with contractors and owners to discuss scope of project, budgets,
and performance.
- Develop relationships with multiple buying influences in the customer's
organization, including executive level customers, facility managers,
project managers, project engineers, and construction.
- Confirm Trane's ability to meet the project performance and financial
requirements by obtaining and analyzing customer data, project data, and
implementation issues prior to accepting the project.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and budget adherence for assigned projects
by working closely with Project Managers.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns and
communicating with customers, sales staff and project managers.
- Ensure completion of project turnover documents.
- Support HVAC Field Technicians by providing technical advice and
offering guidance.
- Support HVAC Field Technicians through training and site visits.
- Support local and corporate safety initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Required. PM, CEM, LEED accreditations are pluses.
- Microsoft Office experience required.
- CAD experience preferred.
- Estimating software (RS Means or equivalent) experience required.
- 4+ years of related experience.
- The flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.
